Website Maintenance
Somebody watching your site so you don't have to. Updates, backups, monitoring, and a content edit a month — for fifty bucks.
Already a Launchpad client?
You don't need this. Maintenance is included in your $50/mo. This page is for sites we didn't build — Custom Build clients post-launch, and any business with an existing site that nobody's watching.
Your website isn't a "set it and forget it" kind of thing. Even though you forgot it.
Every website has the same lifecycle. Launch day, everything works. Six months in, a plugin auto-updates and breaks the contact form. A year in, the SSL certificate is about to expire and nobody's getting the email warnings. Two years in, your hosting account is on a card that got replaced and the site goes dark on a Sunday.
You don't notice until a customer tells you. Or doesn't.
It's not because…
You're not technical enough (this isn't your job — it's somebody's job, just not yours)
Your hosting company "handles all that" (they don't — read the fine print)
Nothing's gone wrong yet (that's not the same as nothing being wrong)
You'll deal with it when something breaks (by then it costs ten times more)
It's because…
Software updates pile up silently until something conflicts and breaks
Backups don't exist until the day you need one and discover they don't
Performance degrades a few percent at a time until you've lost half your traffic
One expired domain, one hosting lapse, one bad update can wipe out years of work
“We watch it so you don't have to.”
“I had no idea my contact form had been broken for three weeks. Nathan caught it before I had to hear about it from a customer.”
Nathan's actually watching it. Not "the team."
Nathan has spent 20 years building digital products — from simple landing pages for local plumbers to fully bespoke platforms for large corporations. He's built things from nothing, worn every hat, and learned what actually keeps a digital product running long after launch.
At 1015, Nathan watches every client site himself. When something breaks, he's the one who sees it and fixes it. No support tier system, no escalation path, no junior who'll get back to you Tuesday. Just Nathan, who built the thing and now keeps it running.
Boring on purpose.
A predictable schedule you never have to think about.
- Security and dependency updates — patched, tested, rolled back if anything breaks
- Daily backups verified working (not just configured)
- Uptime + Core Web Vitals monitoring reviewed
- Monthly performance report in your inbox
When something breaks, we see it before you do. When you need a change, you email Nathan.
- Breaks fixed before you know they happened
- One content edit per month — wording, photo, layout
- Additional edits quoted at $75/hr, number given before work starts
- Bigger changes scoped as a project — no surprise invoices
There's no proprietary framework. Maintenance shouldn't be exciting.
Five things. Monthly. Every month.
You own everything. The site is yours. If you fire us, you take it all with you.
Security and dependency updates
Patched, tested, rolled back if anything breaks
Daily backups, 30-day retention
Actually verified working, not just "configured"
Uptime + performance monitoring
We know if your site went down before your customer does
One content edit per month
Wording, images, minor layout — rolls forward if unused
Email support, 24-hour response
Nathan, not a ticket queue
Maintenance isn't development.
This is the section where most agencies pull a bait-and-switch. We're not.
- Keep the site updated, secure, and running
- Fix things that break
- Make small content edits each month
- Build new pages or sections (that's a project — we'll quote it)
- Redesign existing pages (that's a project — we'll quote it)
- Add new functionality (that's Custom Build territory)
- Manage Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress security (can't — those platforms don't allow it)
$50/mo. One thing. No tiers.
That's the whole price. No setup fee, no onboarding charge, no "first three months are double." If you want more than one content edit per month, we charge $75/hour and tell you the number before doing it.
We'll tell you which one applies on the discovery call. No surprises.
You’ll know if it’s you.
Ideal Fit
- You finished a Custom Build with us and want ongoing technical care
- You have a site (anywhere) and nobody's watching it
- You'd rather pay $50/mo than get a $2,000 emergency invoice when something breaks
- You don't want to learn what "Core Web Vitals" means
Not a Fit
- You need new pages or a redesign (that's a project, not maintenance)
- You have an in-house developer doing this already (don't pay twice)
- You're hoping for SEO, marketing, or content as part of this (that's Get Found, separate service)
- You expect us to log into Wix and "fix the security" (impossible — platform limitation)
Month-to-month. Cancel any month.
No setup fee. No deposit. No 12-month contract. If we stop earning the next month, you stop paying. One email and it's done.
We earn the next month. We don't lock you into the last one.
Questions before you book.
Monthly security and dependency updates, daily backups, uptime + performance monitoring, one content edit per month, email support. That's the whole list. No fine print.
If it's within our control — security patches, hosting issues, update conflicts — we fix it at no charge. If it's a new feature or scope beyond maintenance, we'll quote it separately and tell you the number before doing anything.
Yes, with one limit. For sites we built (Next.js, hosted by us), $50/mo covers everything. For sites on Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress, $50/mo covers content edits only — we can't manage security or infrastructure on platforms we don't control.
Yes. Launchpad ($50/mo) already includes hosting, security, monitoring, backups, and one content edit. This page is for everyone not on Launchpad — Custom Build clients, or businesses with existing sites elsewhere.
Yes, at $75/hour, quoted upfront. Most months people use their one included edit and that's enough. When you need a real change — new page, redesign, new feature — we'll quote it separately.
30-Minute Call · No Pitch
Let’s find out if it’s a fit.
Tell us a bit about your business and what you're trying to fix. We'll review it before we talk — so the call is specific, not a generic walkthrough.
- We review your answers before the call. You get specific recommendations, not a pitch.
- Honest assessment — including if we're not the right move for where you are.
- If it's a fit, we'll walk you through exactly what we'd do and what it costs.
We work with a small number of clients at a time. The form takes two minutes. The call is 30.
